My Approach to Career Counseling for Women

As a professional woman, it’s important that you feel healthy, motivated, and productive at work. Career counseling for women is based on the principles of Reality Therapy and solution-focused counseling. This means that you are the expert on what you want and need from your job in order to feel fulfilled, and we’ll use those wants and needs to establish clear goals for your time in therapy. From there, we’ll take a real-life, practical approach to reaching them through a personalized plan.

Your productivity does not measure your worth (even if it is heavily implied by your boss or coworkers) and we will work together on how you can implement healthy boundaries and prioritize your needs along with those of others. The challenges and emotions you are feeling are valid, and we will work together to prioritize your immediate needs and areas that need attention first in order to get back to enjoying your job again.

You don’t have to continue feeling overwhelmed and overworked.

It’s time to stop questioning your stress levels and whether to change careers. Because you can be healthy and happy in your career (without the illusion of having it together all the time), and still have energy to pour into the other areas of life at the end of the day.
